Just announced:  2025 INDIE WINNER:

My book "Mongrels of Our Making" is the Bronze award winner for Foreward Magazine's INDIE BEST 2025 PHOTOGRAPHY BOOK.

Congratulations to Silver and Gold winners, "The California Camera Club" and "Robert Frank: Mary's Book," respectively.

Notably these two books are products of very astute, original insights by art historians into the history of the medium. I can recommend highly "Mary's Book." It is beautifully printed and designed and I look forward to looking at and reading "The California Camera Club" soon. I am so pleased that "Mongrels" sits alongside these books as part of the award group.

I am very grateful to the INDIES reviewers (over 100 booksellers and librarians) for their careful consideration of all five finalists. It has been a honor to be part of this celebration of new photo books.
